Many flights from Vietnam to China canceled due to the impact of storm No. 9

Vietnam Airlines said its flights between Vietnam and Northeast Asia will be rerouted to avoid the storm's impact area.

At the same time, the airline will cancel flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong (China) on September 23. In addition, many domestic and international flights on September 23 may be affected in a chain reaction.

Similarly, Vietjet Air said that on September 23, it would suspend four flights: VJ8892/VJ8893 from Da Nang to Macao (China) and VJ876/VJ877 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong (China). Several other flights were affected.

Airlines advise passengers to check flight schedules and weather before arriving at the airport, as some flights may be temporarily suspended or have flight times changed due to the storm.

Airlines also recommend passengers to fasten their seat belts throughout the flight, especially in difficult weather conditions. Actively fastening seat belts, even when the signal light is off, is an important measure to help minimize risks when the plane encounters air turbulence.

Previously, the Ministry of Construction issued a telegram directing units to proactively prepare plans to prevent and combat storm No. 9. The aviation industry was asked to adjust flight schedules accordingly to limit the storm's impact and ensure safe travel for passengers.
