* On the morning of July 26, Military Hospital 5, Logistics and Engineering Department (12th Corps) presided over and coordinated with the Ninh Binh Provincial Military Command, the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Tam Diep branch and the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group, Ninh Binh branch to organize a program of medical examination, health consultation, free medicine provision, and gift giving for war invalids, sick soldiers, policy families and people of Gia Van commune.
At the program, the officers and doctors of Military Hospital 5 organized medical examinations, health consultations, and provided free medicine to the subjects. The program is expected to distribute over 300 medicine kits, worth over 70 million VND.
Also at the program, the head of the 12th Corps Command, Military Hospital 5, Ninh Binh Provincial Military Command, Tam Diep Branch of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, and Ninh Binh Branch of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group presented 40 gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers and policy families in Gia Van commune.
The program is one of the activities with profound humanistic meaning, expressing the affection and responsibility of the officers and staff of Military Hospital 5 towards the previous generations and the People.
* Responding to the peak week of "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source" on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 26, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ha Nam ward organized a program to examine, consult and provide free medicine to people with meritorious services and policy families in the area.
At the program, more than 200 war invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs’ relatives, meritorious people, and the elderly received general medical examinations by young doctors and nurses from the Ha Nam General Hospital. After the examination, people were given free common medicines such as fever reducers, antibiotics, pain relievers, blood pressure reducers, vitamins, etc. At the same time, they were advised on health care measures and prevention of chronic diseases common in the elderly.
The program is one of the key activities of Ha Nam ward youth during the month of gratitude in July, part of a series of volunteer activities for the community in 2025 launched by the Vietnam Youth Union and the Vietnam Young Doctors Association, associated with the Journey "Young doctors follow Uncle Ho's teachings to volunteer for community health".
Along with health care activities, on the occasion of July 27, the Ha Nam Ward Youth Union also organized a volunteer campaign to clean the environment, repair and embellish steles, memorials and martyrs' cemeteries in the ward; organized a "gratitude meal" and gave gifts to former youth volunteers who had made many contributions to the resistance war, building and defending the Fatherland. Thereby contributing to taking care of the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services and policy families; affirming the pioneering role, responsibility and gratitude of local youth towards the previous generation.
* On July 26, the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers Association in 1972 visited and presented gifts to a number of relatives of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in Ninh Binh province.
The delegation visited the families of the martyrs: Ho Xuan Thin in Tan Quy street; Tran Ngoc Trung in Nhat Tan street (Hoa Lu ward); Nguyen Cong Ban in Van Giang street (Nam Hoa Lu ward). The delegation also visited the family of Mr. Nguyen Duc Mui in Phuc Chinh street, Hoa Lu ward - a war invalid infected with Agent Orange, who has now passed away. The families that the delegation visited were all relatives of comrades and soldiers who fought in the Quang Tri battlefield in 1972 and were sacrificed or injured.
At the places visited, the Delegation, on behalf of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers Association in 1972, sent their warmest regards and expressed gratitude for the great contributions of the soldiers and comrades who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the Standing Committee of the Association presented meaningful gifts to the families of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers.
