Many special cultural and sports activities towards the Great Festival

Joining the atmosphere of the whole country towards the great celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Department of Culture and Sports as well as tourist areas and spots in the province have been actively preparing art programs, cultural and sports activities to welcome and attract a large number of people and domestic and international tourists to Ninh Binh.

As the main art unit of Ninh Binh province in building art programs to serve the local political tasks on the occasion of national and provincial holidays and anniversaries, Ninh Binh Traditional Art Theater is actively practicing for two major art programs to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2: the art program to welcome at the meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2 and the art performance program to serve the people on the evening of September 1 at the lobby of Pham Thi Tran Theater.

Artist Nguyen Duc Tho, Head of the Cai Luong Group, the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater, said: After the merger of Ninh Binh province, artists from the three theaters of Nam Dinh , Ha Nam and Ninh Binh provinces gathered under the "common roof" of the Traditional Arts Theater to spread and introduce the values ​​and unique cultural features of diverse art forms such as: Cheo singing, Van singing, Xam singing, Cai Luong, folk songs... Overcoming the difficulties of having to travel far every day, lacking facilities and practice rooms, artists and actors all strive to practice to bring to the audience and people in the province unique art performances, conveying the sentiments of the collective of cadres, actors and artists towards the Great Festival of the nation. The two performing arts programs to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd are the first major programs gathering more than 200 cadres, actors, artists, musicians... of Ninh Binh province to practice and perform together. The joy, excitement and above all, the responsibility of each artist to contribute to the success of cultural, artistic and sports activities in the province on this special occasion.

Towards the important political event of the nation, units under the Ninh Binh Department of Culture and Sports have deployed and actively prepared many cultural, artistic and sports activities to ensure solemnity, safety, efficiency and suitability to the actual situation. In the cultural field, the following activities have been implemented: Artistic photo exhibition "Ninh Binh - beautiful mountains and rivers" and organizing the creation and exhibition of propaganda paintings with the theme of praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho and the homeland and the renewed country; organizing a mobile film screening campaign to serve people in rural, mountainous and coastal areas far from the provincial center; displaying books, newspapers and documents on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 at the Provincial Library, Provincial Museum...

Along with art programs and cultural activities, the sports sector also recorded many events held on this occasion such as: Southeast Asian Volleyball Championship SEA V.League 2025; "Ninh Binh Heritage Half Marathon 2025" running race taking place on August 31; International Tennis Tournament ITF U18 - J30... as well as sports competitions and friendly activities taking place at agencies, units, communes and wards in the province. In particular, the Department of Culture and Sports is completing work to participate in the Exhibition of National Achievements in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 at the National Exhibition Center from August 28 to September 5.

Mobile film screenings to serve audiences in communes and wards in the province were carried out from August 18 to September 5.

Along with cultural, artistic and sports activities hosted by the Department of Culture and Sports, tourist areas and spots in the province are also actively preparing conditions to organize art programs and unique entertainment activities towards the Great Festival and attract tourists during the long holiday. In Hoa Lu ancient town these days, the space is also dressed in a new look with flags, lights and many brilliant check-in corners. Food, beverage and souvenir stalls are all decorated according to the festival theme, both creating a highlight for the landscape and giving visitors a complete experience.

Ms. Tran Thi Diep Anh, Executive Director of Hoa Lu Ancient Town, said: Towards the 80th Anniversary of National Day September 2, Hoa Lu Ancient Town has prepared a series of unique cultural and artistic activities to serve tourists such as: Water puppetry, concerts, modern dance, Ky Lan poetry, cavalry performance and especially the art program "Call of the country" with the participation of famous artists and singers such as: Rhyder, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Ngo Lan Huong, talented circus artists Trinh Thang and Trinh Hieu... along with a fireworks display on the evening of August 31. The art program is considered a highlight in the series of cultural and artistic activities in Hoa Lu Ancient Town to bring a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome the Great National Day, attracting people and tourists. Along with the direct activities, we also organize the online minigame "Check-in with the national flag" on the Hoa Lu Ancient Town fanpage.

This is an opportunity for visitors to spread the spirit of national pride and can receive tickets to participate in the show "Call of the Country". The staff welcoming guests all wear red flag shirts with yellow stars, creating a vibrant, proud and close atmosphere. We also mobilize businesses and households in the area around the old town to hang flags, keep the environment clean, so that Hoa Lu old town becomes a green - clean - beautiful space, ready to welcome everyone on this important National Day.

The atmosphere welcoming National Day September 2nd spreads on every street and alley in Nam Dinh ward.

With many cultural, artistic and sports activities taking place enthusiastically to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, it is an opportunity to propagate and educate about the heroic history of the nation, build pride and aspiration to contribute, and at the same time encourage the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of citizens in building and developing the country. This is also an opportunity to introduce and promote Ninh Binh land and people to domestic and international friends, promoting tourism development.
