Many Vietnamese resorts receive Asian architecture awards 2023

The 2023 AADA Awards ceremony took place at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Mr. Dylan Yip, Deputy General Director in charge of Strategy of Asia Award Organization, said that after more than 8 months, AADA has received a strong response with more than 1,100 accounts registered on the official website, more than 436 projects successfully submitted, 100 projects entered the final round. The jury has worked very seriously to find 50 winners of the noble awards.

According to Mr. Alberto Beretta, CEO of IFO SRL, Head of the AADA 2023 Jury, Asian architecture has always been known for its unique beauty, diversity and the subtle combination of tradition and modernity. Through the projects participating in the competition, we can see the strong rise of Asian architecture with creative ideas, spanning many fields, from commercial works to social and residential works... Architects have applied advanced technology to build architectural masterpieces that are still in harmony with the environment and contribute to the sustainable development of the region as well as the world .

Awarding Best Workplace Interior Design to CBRE Hanoi office project.

Some typical projects include Sikanderpur forest renovation project (JRA Design - India), Tops Redevelopment (ArchiGlobal Inc. - Philippines), MARSA HQ (PT. Marsa Andreo Desain - Indonesia), BMW Millennium Auto - Pattanakarn Srinakarin (V2 Design Studio - Thailand), Silhoutte (What Design Studio - Malaysia), Mai Chau Culture Resort (The Modern Touch - Vietnam)...

At this award, many Vietnamese projects including resorts, hotels, and residential projects won awards such as: The Grand Maria Saigon – The Lake Tower (IFO SRL), Xuan Thao residential area (Xuan Thao), CBRE Hanoi office (Vacons),SHB – Best workplace (SHB), Ngo house (DOG house), Grand Tourane Nha Trang (Sunjin Vietnam)…

Commenting on the development potential of Vietnam's architecture industry, Mr. Dang The My, CEO & Founder of Vacons - partner of the Asia Awards Organization, said: "The appearance of many award-winning projects from Vietnam is a big step forward, even opening a new era for the design - architecture industry in Vietnam".

At the end of the award ceremony, AADA officially launched the new season with the theme “Emerging Asia”. Accordingly, AADA 2024 will have 30 categories in 6 main fields: Architectural Design, Interior Design, Retail Interior Design, Architectural Design Firm, Interior Design Firm and Furniture Manufacturing and Retail Company.

AADA 2024 is accepting applications from now until the end of January 2024. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Bangkok (Thailand).
