Free medical examination and medicine in Thanh Thuy border commune and inland communes

On August 21, Tuyen Quang Department of Health, Yen Son Regional Medical Center, Vi Xuyen Regional Medical Center, Ha Giang Eye Hospital, Ha Giang Lung Hospital, Ha Giang Regional Medical Center coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Thanh Thuy commune to organize a program of medical examination, treatment, health consultation and free medicine distribution for people in Thanh Thuy commune.

Leaders of the Department of Health and leaders of regional health centers supervised the free medical examination at Thanh Thuy Commune Health Station.

At the examination point, people will be examined by doctors and nurses, have their electronic health records created to detect and screen for acute and chronic diseases; provide health consultations, raise awareness among people about hygiene and disease prevention, and understand basic knowledge about health care for themselves, their families and the community, in order to effectively implement the contents and national health programs on diseases such as: Tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other bronchial lung diseases, non-communicable diseases, eye diseases, etc.

The activity has practical significance, contributing to primary health care for people, especially in difficult areas, remote and isolated areas. At the same time, it is an important basis for the health sector to grasp the community health situation, improve the quality of disease prevention and treatment at the grassroots level.

People are given free medicine at the program.

This is the second delegation in the implementation of Plan No. 51/KH-SYT, dated July 24, 2025 of the Department of Health on organizing periodic health check-ups for people in Tuyen Quang province. Accordingly, in this period, the delegation will organize free medical check-ups and medicine distribution for Thanh Thuy, Thuan Hoa, Linh Ho, Phu Linh, Viet Lam and Cao Bo communes.

According to plan, the medical examination program for 6 communes in this period will take place from August 21 to 28.
