| Elderly people receive eye examinations. |
Accordingly, the campaign will run until November 13th, during which grassroots health units will conduct examinations and create electronic health records for residents in 63 residential areas. During the examinations, residents will receive blood pressure measurements, blood tests, ultrasounds, and screenings for liver and gallbladder diseases, as well as consultations with specialists in internal medicine, surgery, ENT, dentistry, and ophthalmology.
Specifically, during this free medical check-up campaign, each citizen will have a lifetime electronic health record created to store all of their individual health information. Medical examination and treatment results will be fully and synchronously updated into the National Health Management System.
The campaign is a practical activity aimed at concretizing Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025, of the Politburo "On some breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care, and improvement of people's health." In addition, it helps grassroots health units build a digital health data system, serving more scientific and effective medical management and consultation. Furthermore, it facilitates early detection of disease risks, strengthens preventive medicine, and provides comprehensive health care for the people.
