Eye disease screening for the elderly in Que Son commune

DNO - From October 1 to 9, the People's Committee of Que Son commune coordinated with Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital to organize the program "Examining, consulting on eye diseases and providing free medicine" for the elderly in the area.

The program was implemented in 23/23 villages, with more than 1,500 elderly people coming for examination. After screening, 50 elderly people were assigned to free cataract surgery, helping to restore vision and improve quality of life.

This is a practical activity responding to the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam; demonstrating the concern of the locality and Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital in taking care of the elderly's health.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Que Son commune presented 23 gifts worth 11.5 million VND to the elderly in difficult circumstances.
