Hong Quang Commune: 129 first graders received helmets

On the morning of October 10, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the HEAD Phuong Ha 2 system (Pho Hien ward) to organize a program to give helmets to first grade students in Hong Quang commune.

Students learn the skills to wear helmets properly and ride motorbikes and electric scooters safely.

At the program, 129 first grade students of Hong Quang Primary and Secondary School and Hong Van Primary and Secondary School were given helmets. In addition, teachers and students were instructed on safe traffic skills; how to choose and wear helmets properly and safely when driving or sitting behind motorbikes, electric bicycles, etc.

This is an activity in response to the Traffic Safety Program for Children's Smiles organized by the National Traffic Safety Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and Honda Vietnam Company with the aim of ensuring maximum safety for students when participating in traffic, striving to achieve the goal of 100% of children wearing standard helmets when riding motorbikes and electric bicycles.
