Today, candidates from 7 provinces/cities began paying university and college entrance fees for 2025, including Hanoi , Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La. During the early payment hours, many candidates reported having problems paying via banking channels.

Registering 12 university admission wishes, Dam Ngoc Binh (Hanoi) said that although the bank had notified the deduction of 180,000 VND (15,000 VND/wish), the system still showed that the female student's wishes had not been paid. Despite trying to reload the page many times, Binh still did not receive a successful notification.

The female student felt worried, not knowing whether her case had been recorded or not. “If the transaction fails, will the money be refunded?” the female student wondered.

Tran Anh Thu ( Tuyen Quang ) also encountered a similar problem. When this female student clicked to pay, the message "Payment failed" appeared even though the money was still deducted from her bank account. Thu tried again, but the request was still not recorded as paid.

“I am quite worried because I am afraid that there will be some mistake and my request will not be recorded. I plan to wait about 30 more minutes and then try to pay again,” Thu said.

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, if candidates do not see the "Payment" button at the registration interface, it is possible that at that time the candidate is not in the province/city opened according to the fee payment schedule or the payment system is overloaded and needs to be temporarily hidden to prevent congestion.

In case you have received a notification of money being deducted from your bank account/e-wallet but have not received a successful notification on the admission system, you need to contact the hotline number of the payment channel or the admission system switchboard to report and receive support for checking. The money deducted from this transaction will be refunded.

If the fee payment transaction cannot be made due to system congestion, candidates should not try to access again immediately, but should wait about 15-30 minutes before accessing, and at the same time review the bank account/e-wallet information to perform when the system returns to normal.

After several unsuccessful attempts, candidates can call the admission system support hotline or report to the information technology teacher of the high school where the application is received.

When making payment, the beneficiary account will appear as Hanoi University of Science and Technology (for the North) or the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications (for the South). These are the two schools representing the Ministry of Education and Training to collect the admission fee.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year, nearly 850,000 candidates have registered for university and college admissions, an increase of more than 115,000 compared to last year, with a total of more than 7.6 million wishes. Thus, each candidate registered an average of about 9 wishes.

This year, the admission fee has been reduced from 20,000 VND/application to 15,000 VND. With more than 7.6 million applications registered for admission, when reduced by 5,000 VND/application, the total fee has been reduced by about 38 billion VND.
