Many provinces set new price lists, reaching 68,000 VND/kg

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (December 21, 2024) in the Northern region did not record any price adjustment, but in summary, last week this region was the place with the strongest price fluctuations in the country. Increased compared to the previous week, the price of live pigs here is fluctuating from 66,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, some provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Hung Yen, Thai Binh , Hai Duong and Tuyen Quang have the highest price nationwide at 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 22, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded no price adjustment in the provinces and cities. However, in the past week, this region recorded a continuous increase in the price of live pigs from 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in each session.

Currently, traders in the Central region are purchasing live pigs at around 64,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. Thanh Hoa has the highest live pig price in the region at 68,000 VND/kg. Live pig prices are commonly traded at 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities in this region.

Southern region

Pig prices in the Southern region today (December 22, 2024) recorded no price fluctuations in the weekend session, after many consecutive days of price increases in the provinces and cities.

Currently, traders in the South are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 63,000 to 67,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai , Tay Ninh and Ba Ria – Vung Tau are the localities with the highest prices in the region, reaching 67,000 VND/kg. In the remaining localities, live pigs are bought and sold at around 63,000 to 66,000 VND/kg.
