Many universities enthusiastically celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Towards the sacred milestone of the nation - the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many universities have organized a series of rich and meaningful activities to arouse national pride, deep gratitude and aspiration to contribute in the student generation.

Recently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) organized a photo exhibition to celebrate the "50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification", and a discussion to introduce two books: "Vision from History: Perfecting Vietnamese Values in the New Era" and "April 30, 1975 - Looking Back 50 Years".

This is one of the activities towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); remembering and paying tribute to the great sacrifices and feats of arms of our army and people, thereby raising awareness of the value of freedom and national independence.

On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) - a heroic historical milestone of the Vietnamese people, Hanoi University of Business and Technology encourages teachers, students, and alumni to spread the spirit of national pride by: Changing Facebook profile pictures with a frame celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

According to the school representative, each frame is a tribute, a connection between the past - present - future to express patriotism, national pride and belief in a sustainably developing Vietnam.

Besides, there are many activities such as reenacting the history of a time of fire and smoke when the school yard was covered with bright red flags, or students making a clip to pay tribute to the generations of fallen fathers and brothers,...

Not out of the "flow" of memories, at the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi , the Institute of International Education launched a video creation contest with the theme: "UNITED COLORS - SHINING SITE". The contest aims to arouse patriotism, create a creative playground for students, and at the same time spread the dynamic and cohesive image of the Institute of International Education to the community.

Participating in the contest, student teams will make short videos on the theme: Unity - patriotism - community connection - shining SITE student identity. After being censored, the videos will be posted on the International Training Institute's Facebook fanpage for voting. The results will be decided based on online voting (60%) and the judges' scores (40%).

Towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), 500 students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) showed off their national flag colors, joining the atmosphere of 5,000 students of Ho Chi Minh City at the flag-raising ceremony "I love my Fatherland" and the "The Country is full of joy" concert. The event took place at the Student Cultural House - Ho Chi Minh City National University Urban Area.

The enthusiastic and responsible participation of UEH students at this meaningful event is a strong affirmation of the role of the young generation in the common cause. These are hearts that are not only moved by the glorious past but also full of faith and confidence to step into the era of national growth.

At Saigon University (Ho Chi Minh City), more than 350 students are actively preparing for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Students will march with the Honor Guard and perform in the ceremony's welcome performance.

A representative of Saigon University said that the parade had been prepared since early April with enthusiastic response from students. The art troupe alone had about 300 students participating in the performance.

Many days ago, all the training facilities of Lac Hong University were brightly decorated with the red color of the national flag and the Fatherland flag. The festive atmosphere was evoked by simple but meaningful details with rows of red flags with yellow stars fluttering in the wind. These images remind the younger generation of the value of peace, independence and the great sacrifices of many previous generations.
