"Vietnam - China Connection Bridge, Hai Phong 2025": Exciting, Practical, Rich

On May 10 in Hai Phong, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Department of Foreign Affairs of Hai Phong city and Shinec Joint Stock Company jointly organized the program "Vietnam - China Connection Bridge, Hai Phong 2025".

The program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (1950-2025), the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong liberation and the Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Festival 2025.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee will deploy a series of rich activities with special performances by typical art troupes from the cities of Nanning and Ningbo (China). Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Dung, Director of Hai Phong Department of Foreign Affairs, said that "Vietnam - China Hai Phong Connecting Bridge 2025" is a program to introduce the traditional cultural beauty of Vietnam and China. Thereby, it demonstrates the spirit of exchange, enhances understanding, and connects the people of the two countries, creates a space for connecting businesses, and promotes exchanges and cooperation in many fields.

"Through diverse and close activities, the program contributes to introducing the image of Hai Phong city as a friendly and dynamic city to international friends. This is also an opportunity to promote cultural and tourism potential, seek cooperation opportunities in the fields of services, trade and local economy ," said Ms. Dung.

She believes that the program will leave a beautiful mark in the cooperation journey between Hai Phong and Chinese partners and localities, contributing to enriching people-to-people exchange activities between the two countries.

The program is also an opportunity to connect businesses from both sides. At the event, Vietnamese and Chinese businesses exchanged and explored cooperation opportunities in the fields of trade, services and investment.

According to the Organizing Committee, China is the second largest investor in Hai Phong city out of 42 countries and territories investing here with more than 240 projects, registered capital reaching over 6 billion USD. Hai Phong, as an important industrial, seaport and logistics center, has been establishing friendly relations with many provinces and cities of China such as Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan, Nanning, etc.

Mr. Vuong Vi Tuong, General Director of Jia Feng Vietnam Art Tools Co., Ltd., said that the company has 100% Chinese capital investment and has been headquartered in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park (Hai Phong) since 2020. He highly appreciated the investment environment in Hai Phong and expected that more Chinese enterprises will expand their investment here in the near future.
