The band Westlife returns to Vietnam.

The band Westlife has just announced that Vietnam will be a stop on their Wild Dreams tour. The concert will be held at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on November 22nd. Tickets will go on sale on September 26th.

The legendary band expressed their delight at reuniting with Vietnamese audiences after more than 10 years: "Vietnam. We are thrilled to be back with our Wild Dreams tour on November 22, 2023."

This news excited the online community in general and Westlife's fan club in Vietnam in particular. The post received over 10,000 interactions from Vietnamese viewers, along with 3,100 comments and over 2,400 shares.

This is Westlife's second time performing in Vietnam. In 2011, Westlife sang for thousands of fans during their Gravity tour at My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi . In 2014, lead singer Shane Filan performed in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the You & Me tour live in Saigon. In 2017, Shane Filan returned to Vietnam to perform at the Love Always concert in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the group's second visit to Vietnam.

Westlife was formed in 1998 with members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Former member Brian McFadden has since left the group. Known for their signature pop ballad style, Westlife quickly became one of Europe's leading boy bands after releasing numerous hit love songs such as *Flying Without Wings*, *Seasons in the Sun*, *My Love*, and *I Lay My Love On You *. The group disbanded in 2012 but reunited in 2018 and continued their musical activities.
