Coop Select feminine hygiene solution currently sold at Coopmart is being recalled.

A batch of Coop Select feminine hygiene solution has been ordered to be recalled and destroyed nationwide by the Ministry of Health due to failing to meet microbiological limits.

On June 2nd, the Drug Administration of Vietnam issued a decision to suspend the circulation and recall nationwide of the Coop Select feminine hygiene solution - 150ml bottle. The product label states: Cosmetic product declaration form number: 002013/25/CBMP-HCM, Batch number: S2510087, Production date: 21/10/2025, Expiry date: 21/10/2027.

The product is marketed by Truong Duong Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (Ho Chi Minh City) and manufactured by its branch.

Previously, the Center for Disease Control (Tay Ninh Provincial Department of Health ) collected product samples from Coopmart Tan Chau Supermarket (Address: Le Duan Street, Hamlet 2, Tan Chau Commune, Tay Ninh Province) and Coopmart Tay Ninh Supermarket (Address: 576 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Tan Ninh Ward, Tay Ninh Province) for quality testing. The samples failed to meet quality standards regarding the limit of microorganisms.

Following the aforementioned violation, the Drug Administration of Vietnam has ordered the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the entire batch of the product in question.

The Drug Administration Department requests that provincial health departments nationwide notify businesses and users of cosmetics in their areas to immediately cease trading and using the aforementioned product batch and return it to the supplier; inspect and monitor businesses and users of cosmetics to ensure the recall of the infringing product as required in this document; and handle organizations and individuals violating the regulations according to current laws.

Truong Duong Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company must receive returned products from businesses, proceed with recalling and destroying the batches of products that do not meet regulations.

Businesses must complete and submit a report on the results of the recall and destruction of the product batch to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before July 1, 2026.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health is tasked with supervising the recall and destruction of products from Truong Duong Company and its production branches; and inspecting the company's compliance with legal regulations on cosmetic management in its production and business activities.

The results of inspections and handling of violations (if any) must be reported to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before July 15, 2026.
