Lan Ha Bay is located in the eastern part of Cat Ba Island, facing the Van Gate and adjacent to Ha Long Bay. The bay is surrounded by more than 400 small islands, creating a poetic landscape. The islands here, whether large or small, are covered in green trees and vegetation. The density of the rocky mountains here is also quite thick, surrounded by caves with magical sparkling stalactites.

Monkey Island has a circumference of about 3km, with a mountain-like structure. Cat Ba National Park

Cat Ba National Park is extremely diverse in ecology, including marine ecosystems, terrestrial forest ecosystems and mangrove ecosystems. The forest is located about 30 nautical miles east of the town, about 60km from Hai Phong city center.

The national park has a total area of 26,240 hectares including islands and sea. The flora here has about 741 species, many precious woods such as trai ly, che hoa, lat hoa, lim xet, cho dai, kim giao, and white wood; 23 species of mangrove plants, 75 species of seaweed, and 199 species of phytoplankton.

Cannon Fort

If you want to both sightsee and rest, visitors can go to the Than Cong fortress relic site, also known as Hill 177. The two large cannons and the trench system on the mountain top were built in the 1940s and are still quite intact.

One of the attractions for many tourists is the high location, from here you can see the whole bay, it is wonderful to stand here to watch the sunrise and sunset on the island.

The entrance fee is 80,000 VND per person. Visitors who want to take the electric car need to pay an additional 50,000 VND per person. The fee for viewing the scenery with binoculars is 5,000 VND per trip.

Hang Quan Y is located in Hung Son cave, next to the only road across the island. This is a unique destination, about 8.5km from the town center, on the way to the national park. Inside the cave is a field hospital, built from 1963 to 1965.

Inside the cave is a system of 17 rooms located on three floors, with a treatment room, a rehabilitation training area, a cinema room... The cave has bomb-proof doors, created during the war. The Military Medical Cave is not only the pride of the Vietnamese Military Medical industry but also an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

Cat Co Beach

There are 3 famous Cat Co beaches on Cat Ba Island, just a few hundred meters from the town center. The three beaches are not too big but are secluded, with clear and warm sea water.

The beaches are connected by a small road along the mountainside. Cat Co 1 beach is the widest and most beautiful, located along the mountain, with waves all year round, clear blue water and fresh air, and is a place chosen by many tourists to relax and swim.

Cat Co 2 beach is more peaceful and has a bit of mystery. Cat Co 3 beach has a modern color, lots of waves and is quite deep, suitable for good swimmers.

Tung Thu Beach

Surrounded by successive cliffs, Tung Thu beach is located in the Cat Ba Amatina project. This is one of the first beaches planned and built with modern, quality services in Cat Ba with outdoor stages, international-class tourist and resort areas.

Here the sea water is clear, the waves are calmer than other beaches, the golden sand stretches long.
