Trains spread love for the Fatherland on National Day

To celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Vietnam Railways Corporation has deployed its staff on all trains to wear red flag with yellow star shirts, to spread the beautiful image of the national flag and national pride.

The 4-day National Day holiday on September 2nd saw a significant increase in rail travel. The Corporation has also increased the number of trains to meet the increased travel demand of the people. The number of tickets sold compared to the same period last year increased by over 10%. Reports from member companies show that 130,000 tickets were sold nationwide.

Many passengers traveling by train on this occasion were surprised to see the train cars decorated in red and yellow. Passenger Hung in Hanoi said that after many years, he had used the train as a means of transportation again. "On this occasion, the trains are also wearing the colors of the national flag. I myself feel both proud and lucky to be on this special journey," Hung shared.

Foreign guests were surprised and delighted when the train attendant introduced them. "The shirt I'm wearing has the national flag of my country printed on it. In just a few days, our country will officially celebrate its 79th National Day. Therefore, we want to spread this joy and pride to you."

Along with the staff on the train, the stations also show images of the national flag on TV screens, hang the national flag in squares, platforms, train stations, etc.

The journey of the trains carrying the national flag still rolls regularly every day, bringing love and pride to every corner of the country...
