On the morning of October 27, 2024, the People's Committee of Tan Thoi Nhat Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City organized a campaign to collect trash from canals and streams belonging to a branch of Tham Luong Canal, with the participation of ward officials and Green Summer volunteers.

Due to the influence of low pressure, many places in the city had rain in the morning, with District 12 experiencing heavy rain. However, people were still enthusiastic about going down to the canals to collect trash, clear the flow, and return the canal environment to a clean state.
