The Silent Ones in the Rain

On the morning of October 27, 2024, the People's Committee of Tan Thoi Nhat Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, organized a cleanup campaign of canals and waterways belonging to the Tham Luong Canal branch, with the participation of ward officials and volunteers from the Green Summer program.

Due to the influence of a tropical depression, many areas of the city experienced rain in the morning, with District 12 bearing the brunt of the heavy downpour. Despite this, people enthusiastically went down to the canals and waterways to collect trash, clear the waterways, and restore a clean environment.
