According to Pham Quynh Anh, Head of the Event Organizing Committee, the Book Club of Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted proactively contacted Huu Lien Primary and Secondary School to understand and categorize the donated books according to the needs of the students there. The donated books were categorized, focusing on children's books, life skills, literary stories, English language materials, secondary school textbooks, and books for preparing for the 10th grade entrance exam.

When the project was launched, teachers, parents, and many students in Hanoi not only responded by donating books or other items but also actively spread information about the event, encouraging friends and relatives to participate and support it. This collective effort helped the event reach more benefactors, motivating the club members to continue pursuing their journey of bringing reading culture to the community.

Mr. Hoang Trong Thong, the school's Vice Principal, emotionally shared: "Currently, the school's facilities and learning conditions still face many difficulties. The school library does not have a separate reading room, and the number of books and stories is limited, while many students from poor and near-poor households and ethnic minority students still lack access to books that support their learning and skill development."

Receiving the heartfelt gesture from the young people of Nguyen Hue High School, representatives of Huu Lien Primary and Secondary School expressed their appreciation for these meaningful actions, which will contribute to spreading the spirit of mutual support and compassion, educating students to love, share, and live more responsibly within the community.

For members of the book club, donating and organizing charitable projects has become an annual activity to share with even more disadvantaged schools.

Pham Minh Huyen, co-chair of the event organizing committee, emphasized that the value of books lies in the dissemination of knowledge. Reading books is a way for children to gain a better understanding of the wider world, motivating them to continue attending school, pursue their dreams, and confidently move towards the future.

"Seeing smiles on the children's faces is the greatest motivation for us to continue pursuing our dream of becoming good citizens and being responsible to the community," Huyen shared.
