A female patient who underwent liposuction on her abdomen and back suffered severe blood loss and fell into a coma, but her life was saved.

According to the patient's relatives, at 7:00 AM on June 6th, patient TTLP went to a cosmetic surgery clinic in District 10 and underwent eyelid surgery.

At 10 a.m. the same day, the patient was transferred to a cosmetic surgery hospital in District 5 for liposuction surgery.

At 12:20 PM, the patient underwent full abdominal liposuction and back liposuction under general anesthesia via endotracheal intubation.

At 4:15 PM, the patient's blood pressure dropped, and the surgical team performed emergency resuscitation before transferring him to Cho Ray Hospital.

The patient was admitted to the emergency room at Cho Ray Hospital at 7 PM on June 6th in a comatose state, requiring manual ventilation via endotracheal tube, and with unmeasurable blood pressure.

Immediately upon admission, the patient underwent an abdominal CT scan, a consultation, and was scheduled for emergency surgery. Internal bleeding due to a ruptured greater omentum was observed. During the surgical procedure to control the bleeding, the patient lost 6 liters of blood and received blood transfusions.

After surgery, the patient was monitored and received intensive care in the Intensive Care Unit.

As of June 8th, the patient was conscious, responsive, vital signs were stable, and able to communicate.

The Department's inspectors have sealed the patient's medical records as per regulations. Simultaneously, the Department of Health has established a team of experts to survey and inspect the safety of surgical procedures at the aforementioned liposuction cosmetic surgery hospital. The Department of Health inspectors will continue to investigate and resolutely handle any administrative violations in the healthcare sector at cosmetic surgery facilities (if any).
