Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new school year, teacher Do Van Nam - Principal of Do Muoi High School said that on July 14, 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee signed Decision No. 3782 on the establishment of Do Muoi High School under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, a spacious and modern school located on Tran Thu Do Street, Yen So Ward, Hanoi. The school is honored to be named after the late General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Do Muoi.
The school is equipped with modern facilities, 3 LED screens on the school stage, multi-purpose room and council room; classrooms are fully equipped with lighting systems, slide boards, TVs over 80 inches, air conditioning, and teaching assistant systems for teachers. In addition, the school has multi-purpose rooms and specialized rooms for each subject.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Do Muoi High School recruited 418 students, divided into 10 classes. The students came from all over Hanoi City. Despite initial difficulties, teachers and students of the school tried very hard to keep up with the schedule to organize the opening ceremony at the new school on September 5, 2025.
Do Muoi High School has been rushing to complete some items in time for the first school year. The school has 45 classrooms, expected to have 39 classes when all 3 grades are full.
In the sacred sound of the school opening drum, that excitement has turned into a great expectation: that each new school will be a place to foster knowledge and nurture aspirations for the future generations of the Capital.
In harmony with the live broadcast from the central bridge, teachers and students of the school together sang the National Anthem, listened to the resounding drumbeat of the opening ceremony, as if adding more faith and motivation for the learning journey ahead.
Teacher Do Van Nam - Principal of Do Muoi High School emphasized that for students, especially grade 10 students who are the first to set foot in this school, they are having a special start. Let's consider this an opportunity for them to build good values together, creating a unique identity for our young school.
