Ninh Hai strives to implement Project 06

With the determination to implement Project 06 synchronously and effectively, in recent times, the District People's Committee and the Steering Committee of Project 06 of Ninh Hai District have issued many documents, focusing on directing the drastic implementation of tasks, assigning specific and consistent tasks to agencies, departments, branches, unions and People's Committees of communes, towns and related units, ensuring unity and close coordination to complete the set goals and progress according to assigned functions and tasks.

The work of thoroughly and extensively disseminating and propagating has helped Party committees, authorities, agencies, units, departments, branches and people to basically understand the purpose and significance of Project 06. Project 06 working groups at all levels regularly review and urge the implementation of tasks, promptly report to remove all difficulties and obstacles. At the same time, promote propaganda through the loudspeaker system at the grassroots level, through village meetings, residential groups, Party cell activities, especially associations and organizations such as the Youth Union and Women's Union to propagate through social networking sites. In addition, in the process of implementing Project 06, the police force of communes and towns in Ninh Hai district has issued electronic chip-embedded citizen identification cards to eligible people in the area, aiming to clean up national data on population and guide people to install and register VNeID national electronic identification accounts, and use online public services. Thereby, bringing many practical benefits to local people and businesses when performing administrative procedures and transactions in the digital environment.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tin, Tan Hai Commune (Ninh Hai), said: Before, when I went to see a doctor, I had to bring my health insurance and many other documents. Since the implementation of Project 06, the documents have been integrated into the citizen identification card, so going to the doctor is convenient, the procedures are quick, and I don't need to bring many documents anymore. I was instructed to download the electronic health examination book to track my medical condition and hospital visits without needing a paper book like before. I find it very convenient and easy to use.

Comrade Tran Minh Thai, Chairman of Ninh Hai District People's Committee, said: To effectively implement Project 06, the District People's Committee and the Working Group implementing Project 06 have advised the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to strengthen leadership and direction in implementing the development of population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation. At the same time, promote propaganda work to raise people's awareness of the meaning, importance and utility of electronic identification accounts for all areas of economic and social life.

According to the report, from the beginning of the year until now, Ninh Hai district has received 7,094 records, of which 4,556 records were received online, 1,936 records were received directly and by post; 1,793 level 2 electronic identification accounts were activated; the total number of medical examinations and treatments using electronic health books on VNeID reached 22,378 medical examinations and treatments using health insurance for people over 14 years old.

To continue effectively implementing Project 06, in the coming time, Ninh Hai district will closely follow the progress of Project 06, focus on ensuring infrastructure conditions, data and digital platforms, prepare conditions to ensure interconnection between specialized databases, information systems with the national database on population; promote working in the network environment; focus on training, improving information technology capacity, equipping necessary digital skills for officers and employees to adapt to the network environment to operate and develop systems, increasingly better serving the needs of people and businesses.
