Mr. Vo Thanh Dien, a specialist at the Department of Justice, said: "At the One-Stop Service Center, I handle the receipt and delivery of results for areas including criminal records, civil registration, and notarization. I guide people to submit applications online, ensuring 100% success. When results are available, I deliver the documents through the system, or I contact people to deliver them by mail if they don't have time to come and pick them up."
In the third quarter, the district level received and processed 279 applications; the commune level received and processed 978 applications; the rate of online applications reached 100%. The district effectively implemented the reception and processing of administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries in the fields of land, criminal records, and labor. At the same time, the "Congratulatory Letter" model was maintained in the processing of administrative procedures for birth registration and first marriage registration (20 congratulatory letters were given during the quarter). Accordingly, the level of satisfaction of organizations and individuals with the spirit and attitude of the civil servants and public employees reached 100%.
The good news is that more and more people in the area are submitting their applications online themselves.
To date, U Minh district has completed 16 out of 20 administrative reform tasks, achieving 80% of the 2024 plan. To achieve this result, the district has encouraged officials and civil servants to actively research and propose innovative solutions and improvements, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of administrative procedures for citizens and businesses. In addition, it has strengthened the monitoring of administrative reform implementation to promptly address and rectify shortcomings.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of U Minh District, shared: "Identifying administrative reform as a strategic breakthrough and a key task to promote socio-economic development, the district continues to decisively and comprehensively implement many solutions to effectively carry out the tasks of administrative procedure reform; organizational and apparatus reform; public service reform; public finance reform; and building and developing e-government. The district regularly inspects, supervises, and promptly reminds officials and civil servants of the One-Stop Service Center to ensure that administrative procedures are resolved quickly and efficiently, meeting current task requirements."
With numerous solutions and timely directives, U Minh district demonstrates its political determination to create breakthroughs and move towards substantive and effective administrative reform. The district continues to promote administrative procedure reform associated with digital transformation, improving the rate and quality of online public service delivery in a user-centric manner, using the satisfaction of citizens and businesses as a measure of effectiveness.
