Born in 1992, originally a dancer, MC Hong Nhung has been working as a program host for 15 years. She is a familiar voice to millions of listeners nationwide through live programs broadcast on VOV Traffic channel such as: Rush Hour, On Every Road, Radio Dating, Late Night Road...

Few people know that behind that voice is a challenging childhood and a bumpy journey. At the age of 14, she left her family, brought her luggage to the dormitory to study at a dance school. After school in the afternoon, she walked home, looked through the window at families gathered around the dinner table and cried. Sweat soaked after each hour of practicing ballet, folk, contemporary... but Hong Nhung still did not give up. Because she understood that she had to be strong, had to succeed to make her parents proud.
Not long after graduating, the biggest event in Hong Nhung's life happened when her father suddenly passed away. What she was tormented by was that her father passed away without seeing his daughter's success. But from that shock, Hong Nhung grew up and found a new path - making friends with listeners through radio waves.
Hong Nhung came to the radio profession by chance: "Once when I was taking a taxi quite late, the driver turned on the FM91MHz frequency. During the whole journey, I listened to the editor of VOV Giao thong sharing stories about life, love... very touching. I thought, if only I could also go on air to comfort someone who was sad, give them a song that suited their mood, how great would that be."

And then, when VOV Giao thong opened a recruitment round, she boldly applied for the second time before being accepted. For the first half of the year, she only sat and listened to veteran editors host the program, learning how to pause, convey emotion and listen. But because she loved the job and wanted to become a true "travel companion", she never thought of giving up.
As the MC of live interactive programs, every day she has to update information about collisions, traffic jams, etc. Hong Nhung admits that at first she was overwhelmed because she could not believe that there would be so many incidents in one day. ''I constantly received news from the authorities, observed cameras, received feedback from field reporters and drivers. There were nights when I still dreamed of... traffic jams,'' Hong Nhung confided.
After 8 years of hard work, that voice has now become familiar to millions of people across the country through programs such as Rush Hour, Late Night Road or interactive hours where she transforms into a witty girl, juggling with listeners through quizzes. To the point that drivers affectionately call her by the affectionate nickname 'Nhung Luon'.
What Hong Nhung is most proud of is the connection between people through a small microphone. There are couples who became husband and wife thanks to the radio, young people who found their career direction after receiving support from the community, and many broken relationships that were mended after sharing their feelings on air.
But the most touching were the letters from blind listeners. They cannot see the light, but listen to the radio to feel this world . And for Hong Nhung, being the "radio eyes" for someone is an incomparable honor.

Asked Hong Nhung: As a beloved voice but not often revealed, do you ever feel sad?, she replied: "I feel happy because listeners remember me as 'driver Hong Nhung' who always accompanies, as 'Nhung Luong' who is witty, as a matchmaker with good hands... Even though they don't know me, they still love me and entrust me. For me, that is enough to overcome all my fears."
Not only stopping at radio, Hong Nhung also spreads positive energy through social networks. She currently has 4 fanpages to share inspirational stories...
Hong Nhung will soon be the MC of the Mrs Grand Vietnam 2025 contest taking place on June 29 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace.
Although she spends most of her time working and is a good matchmaker, Hong Nhung is quite introverted and rarely shares about her love life, because according to her: "I have not met anyone who understands me enough to really want to share. Fate - I let fate decide. The most important thing to me is to live happily and peacefully with myself every day. Because happiness is a journey, not a destination."
