Where culture and cuisine intersect

With the theme "Lam Dong - Convergence of quintessence - Connecting emotions", on the opening night of Street Culture Month taking place on the evening of September 6 at the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition (Phan Thiet ward), 80 food stalls and regional specialties attracted hundreds of locals and tourists to visit and experience.

With many booths gathering specialties, souvenirs from 3 regions, to cuisines of neighboring countries such as Laos, Thailand, it has contributed to making the festival more diverse and rich. Visitors can enjoy many delicious dishes such as: rotating pancakes, Ha Long hand-pounded squid, My Tho noodles, traditional cakes of the West...

In addition, the blend of Lao cuisine such as sticky rice, Chinese sausage, dried pork, Thai salad, dishes made from insects... has created a colorful picture, a unique cultural and artistic exchange.

In addition, in the food festival space, visitors can also admire the ancient cultural space recreated with farming, calligraphers, booths making clay figurines, Bat Trang pottery, Indian Henna painting art... Mr. Nguyen Anh Trung - a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City shared: "My family traveled during the time when Lam Dong province has many attractive activities. This food festival has many diverse restaurants, my children got to try many delicious dishes and also enjoy vibrant street music , experience pottery making, making the trip more interesting and meaningful".

This is not only a series of large-scale cultural and tourism events of Lam Dong province, but also an opportunity for the province to affirm its new dynamic and creative destination, creating unique tourism products, enhancing the image of Lam Dong to domestic and foreign tourists.

Speaking at the opening night of the Lam Dong Province Tourism Destination Experience Month 2025, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The merger of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong has opened up a large, potential and promising development space.

Lam Dong becomes a land that converges unique cultural, natural and human values, creating a rich tourism ecosystem. This activity will bring a series of rich cultural, tourism, commercial and sports events throughout the province. This is an opportunity to spread the message of a friendly, hospitable land, rich in cultural identity and full of emotions...

However, according to many locals, the food stalls still lack many specialties of Phan Thiet and the Central Highlands such as: banh canh, banh quai vac, mi quang, avocado ice cream, cheese yogurt, etc. Most of them are fast food stalls, not really highlighting the unique culinary culture of the new province.

It is known that up to now, there are about 50 businesses, travel agencies, services, motels... registered for promotional programs from 5 - 50% to stimulate demand, attract visitors to Lam Dong to experience a land where nature - culture - people converge.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, Lam Dong Delicious Food Space will be held from September 6 to October 5 (taking place on the weekend) in Mui Ne ward (Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, from Ca Ty Mui Ne Resort & Spa to Saigon Mui Ne Resort & Spa), Phan Thiet (outside area of the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition), Tien Thanh (NovaWorld Phan Thiet area) and Hoa Thang commune (Bau Trang tourist area).
