Hai Phong and Hai Duong farmers have a good lychee harvest.

From early June 2025, in lychee growing areas in Bat Trang commune, An Lao district (Hai Phong) and Thanh Ha district (Hai Duong), people have organized early lychee harvest, with higher quality and yield than last year.

Thanh Ha fabric is gathered at purchasing points.

Representatives of some gardeners informed that this year's lychee crop is good, with high yield. The lychees harvested at this time include varieties such as U Hong and Trung Trang lychees, which are of quite good quality, plump, with beautiful fruit color, sweet, and thick flesh.  

Farmers in Thanh Quang commune (Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province) harvest lychee.

According to the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection of Hai Duong province, this year, the province has about 8,800 hectares of lychee, of which Thanh Ha district accounts for 3,285 hectares, Chi Linh city about 3,400 hectares. The total lychee output of Hai Duong province is expected to reach about 55,000 tons, Thanh Ha district alone is estimated to reach about 38,000 tons. Lychee production in the province basically complies with safety procedures with 721 hectares certified to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards.

In Hai Phong , lychee production is mainly concentrated in Bat Trang commune (An Lao); some riverside areas in Tien Lang and An Lao districts also have lychee growing areas but the output is insignificant.
