Meritorious Artist Hoài Linh will play the role of Teacher Thạch, a spirit medium who has experienced many hardships and possesses many hidden inner struggles with complex psychological depth. This character plays a pivotal role in the storyline.

As a veteran figure in Vietnamese performing arts, Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh possesses a vast repertoire of roles, from stage plays to the big screen. In the past two years, audiences have laughed and cried with him through his portrayal of a hardworking, struggling father raising his children in "Making Money with Ghosts" and his quirky character in "Making Money with Ghosts 2: The Diamond War." Both films surpassed the 100 billion VND mark, becoming milestones in the film career of the Meritorious Artist.

Returning this time as Teacher Thach, the male artist continues to affirm his natural yet deeply psychological acting style. What's special is that he plays a spirit medium, embodying many characteristics of the Mother Goddess religion that the Meritorious Artist himself passionately pursues.

And the character in this film is truly very suitable for him. He is a person who loves culture, loves the Mother Goddess worship, lives simply, and always gives a lot."

The film will feature a shaman character with that kind of personality. I almost put Hoai Linh in the context of the film. Initially, Linh didn't agree. I had to send him the script many times and share a lot of information with him. He said he needed to read the script first. After reading the sixth or seventh version, he finally agreed to participate.

For me, it's a great honor and a great joy. Because Linh himself is a devout worshipper and deeply loves Vietnamese culture, this role suits him quite well, both in terms of personality and spirit.

"I myself am a servant of God, and so is Linh. He's like a mentor to me. During the scriptwriting process, he also gave a lot of suggestions to make the characters more profound, with more conflicts, obstacles, and more color. I accepted those suggestions and worked together to incorporate them into the script in the most beautiful and harmonious way, so that the film would have more depth and bring more humanistic values ​​to the audience ."

In 2015, he was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist.
