After graduating with a Master's degree in Classical Chamber Music, Tan Nhan became a lecturer at the Academy, obtained a doctorate in 2019, and was appointed Deputy Head of the Academy's Vocal Department in 2017.
Typically, in 2019, Tan Nhan performed her first solo live show in her career called "Return" which caused a big stir due to the combination of folk music and chamber symphony orchestra, approaching the world music trend, with a high dedication to the country's music industry. This program brought her the Dedication Music Award - Program of the Year.
In 2022, the program "Music Road - Tan Nhan" produced by VTV Television recognized the artistic achievements of Tan Nhan as one of the leading folk singers today.
The series of traditional music albums that she worked hard to produce such as "Yem dao xuong pho" (2013) and "Níu dai lua dao" (2018) both received great public attention when she became one of the first famous artists to produce albums honoring traditional music with great respect.

Later, the MV "Cong cha ngai me sinh sanh" combining Xam and chamber symphony with the arrangement of Conductor Dong Quang Vinh that Tan Nhan released also continued those contributions, contributing to extending traditional music in modern musical life and reaching out to the world.
However, no matter how innovative Tan Nhan is, she still focuses on preserving the spirit of traditional music and strives to honor the original values. For example, in the album "Niu dai lua dao", she took the trouble to study with artisans to be able to sing traditional music in the most original way.

Tan Nhan shared that in the future she will continue to promote this direction, making more efforts to bring traditional music to audiences of all ages, domestically and internationally, contributing to promoting the preservation, promotion and development of traditional music.
