NTO - Emulation Congress of Phan Rang City Armed Forces

On April 26th, the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City organized the Emulation Congress for Achieving Victory in the city's armed forces for the period 2024-2029. Attending the event was Ms. Chau Thi Thanh Ha, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Party Committee.

The Congress reviewed the results of the emulation movement for excellence in the city's armed forces during the 2019-2024 period, and simultaneously determined the main directions, objectives, tasks, content, and measures to further promote emulation, commendation, and the emulation movement for excellence in the 2024-2029 period. Over the past five years, the emulation movement for excellence in the city's armed forces has truly permeated mass organizations, taking place enthusiastically in agencies, units, and localities, spearheading the implementation of tasks with diverse themes, content, and forms. It has promptly encouraged, motivated, and awakened the enthusiasm and sense of responsibility of cadres, union members, and association members in their respective positions. Through the emulation movement, 226 collectives and 527 individuals from the city's armed forces have been awarded flags, certificates of merit, and the title of "Unit of Victory" by the Ministry of National Defense , the 5th Military Region Command, and the Provincial People's Committee for their performance in local defense and military tasks, building strong and comprehensive "exemplary" units, in the selection and recruitment of citizens for military service, and in the annual emulation movement for national defense.

Comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee, presented certificates of commendation to outstanding collectives.

The Congress identified the theme of the Emulation Movement for National Defense in the 2024-2029 period as "Democracy, unity, intelligence, discipline, exemplary conduct, and decisive victory," signifying the resolute will of the city's armed forces to continue upholding patriotism and revolutionary heroism, steadfastly pursuing the ideals of national independence and socialism, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, and being ready to accept and excellently fulfill assigned tasks. It will continue to innovate the content, form, and methods of organizing emulation, focusing on successfully implementing the central political tasks, resolving weaknesses and shortcomings, effectively performing the function of advising the Party Committee and government on leading and directing local defense and military tasks; improving the quality and effectiveness of combat readiness, building a regular army, and training discipline. Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, and the campaign "Promoting traditions, contributing talents, and living up to the name of Ho Chi Minh's soldiers," strictly implementing Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee, preventing and repelling the decline in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, "self-evolution," and "self-transformation" within the organization; actively participating in building civilized and compassionate urban areas, and contributing to the construction of new rural areas.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City awarded certificates of commendation to 8 collectives and 15 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of the city's armed forces during the period 2019-2024.
