Moon So Ri came to the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) for the first time in 2023 and was very impressed with Vietnamese cinema.
She once shared with the media: “Among Asian countries, Vietnamese cinema left a deep impression on me. I know it will not be easy for Vietnamese cinema to spread and make an impression in Korea, but you can exploit many different aspects. I believe that one day soon, you can bring Vietnamese cinema to Korea as well as to Asia.”
Two years later, Moon So Ri returned to DANAFF III, accompanied by her husband - director Jang Joon-hwan, who is the President of the Jury of the Asian Film Competition at DANAFF III. Their reunion in Da Nang promises to bring many interesting stories in the journey of dialogue between Korean and Vietnamese cinema, between artists and audiences.
