The leader of the Departmentof Education and Training of Long Xuyen City said that the incident happened at night, outside the school grounds, without the presence of any teachers. "I have asked the police to urgently verify and promptly report to the city leaders and the Department of Education and Training," said the leader.

A clip is circulating on social media recording a group of female students fighting in front of a school gate in Long Xuyen City. According to this clip, a group of about 6-7 female students gathered in front of the school gate near Highway 91. After preparing their phones to record, the students appeared excited and shouted.

Then, about 4-5 students approached a female student, then a student named Y. Ng. grabbed her hair and repeatedly hit her on the head, causing her to fall to the ground. A female student wearing a black jacket continued to rush in, using her helmet to repeatedly hit her on the head, another female student wearing a white shirt did the same.

Even though the victim cried and kept apologizing, the group of friends did not stop. She could only hold her head and endure the beating. They continued to beat her, kicked her, and dragged her to a bicycle to continue the assault.

The incident only stopped when the female student filming the clip spoke up to stop it.
