On the morning of August 21, the International Forum and Exhibition on Innovation - InnoEx 2025 officially opened at ThiskyHall Sala (HCMC), with the theme "Shaping the Future Economy: From Data to Digital Assets".
The event was jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association (YBA), the Business Startup Support Center (BSSC) and IBP Company, under the auspices of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
In the context of Vietnam's GDP increasing by 7.52% in the first half of 2025, the highest level in 15 years, the digital economy reaching 36 billion USD (accounting for 18% of GDP) and forecast to contribute 30-35% by 2030, InnoEx is expected to become a highlight affirming the role of innovation for businesses and the economy.

InnoEx 2025 is expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors, including 4,000 CEOs, 300 exhibiting companies, more than 100 startups and 70 investment funds from more than 60 countries and territories. Participating strategic markets include Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Canada and Europe.
This year's program has many outstanding activities such as Business Innovation Forum (roundtable between traditional and technology businesses), Innovation Sector Forums (AI, innovative brands, consumer experiences), Green Innovation Summit on green economy, and major startup playgrounds such as Startup Wheel 2025, Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge and Green Innovation Fellowship.

In her opening speech, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, emphasized: "InnoEx is not only a place to introduce technology, but also a point of connection, spreading the spirit of innovation, especially in the young startup community. The city is committed to accompanying this event to become a brand associated with the startup movement and sustainable development."
A representative of Qualcomm – the corporation that has just inaugurated the third largest AI R&D center in the world in Ho Chi Minh City – highly appreciated Vietnam's role in the journey to becoming a regional innovation center, and affirmed to continue accompanying Vietnamese startups through support programs.
