The “open space” model activates mass interaction

At the press conference on the afternoon of December 3, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh said: TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 will completely transform from the organization model in the hall to an open urban space on the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street. The new approach allows people to directly access new technologies, innovative business models and startup support services, and is suitable for the time when the whole country is implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung: Bringing TECHFEST to an open space helps people, businesses, investors and startups easily connect and seek cooperation opportunities.

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung emphasized that to achieve the goal of double-digit growth, Hanoi has no other choice but to rely on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Bringing TECHFEST to an open space helps people, businesses, investors and startups easily connect, exchange and seek cooperation opportunities right in the rhythm of urban life.

According to the Director of the Department of Startups and Technology Enterprises Pham Hong Quat, all activities of TECHFEST 2025 will be spread out at open locations around Hoan Kiem Lake such as cafes, restaurants, community areas or Nhan Dan Newspaper hall. The "open" model is implemented in four aspects: open space, open interaction, open technology experience and open participants - from business households, students, startups to small and medium enterprises. This organization method both stimulates the spirit of entrepreneurship for all people and helps people see more clearly the application of technology in production, business and life.

The open space also creates conditions for international delegates to experience the culture of the capital, while directly observing the creativity of the Vietnamese startup community in the center of Hanoi.

10 seminars, workshops and 20 investment and cooperation connection events

Deputy Minister Hoang Minh emphasized that entering its 11th year, TECHFEST 2025 takes place at a particularly meaningful time when the whole country is preparing to summarize a year of implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW. In particular, innovative startups are an important content in the development orientation of the new period.

This year, TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 focuses on affirming the role of state management through announcing new policies, updating ecosystem data and strongly promoting the public-private partnership model. A series of highly specialized activities such as connecting investment deals and solving market problems are also enhanced, along with the message about the "One-person Enterprise" model spreading in the startup community.

In addition to the Opening Ceremony and the National Policy Forum, TECHFEST 2025 will have more than 10 seminars, including international seminars, many professional seminars, technology demonstrations and more than 20 events connecting investment and business cooperation between domestic and foreign partners.

700 exhibition booths - technology experience space

The technology space stretching along the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street during TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 will create an open, interactive environment where people can get up close and personal with innovative products and services for the first time in a vivid and intuitive way.

A series of activities including inspirational talkshows, practical workshops, instant AI photography, AR challenges and many new technology experiences will help the public explore ideas, share experiences, connect with the community and update creative trends that are shaping the future.

Approximately 700 booths will be arranged throughout the event space, creating opportunities for innovation groups, startups and businesses to showcase their achievements to the public and investors. These booths are divided into 4 thematic areas to create depth, convenient for viewers to choose, and at the same time help investment funds access potential projects on the spot.
