Ms. Pham Tuong Duyen visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Vo Thi Le in Thoi Hoa 2 area.

After graduating with a degree in International Business from Can Tho University in 2012, Ms. Duyen worked in private enterprises. However, her passion for social work and her desire to contribute to her homeland led her to pursue local community work. In 2019, she served as Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoi Thuan Ward. In 2022, she became Vice Chairperson of the Women's Union of the ward; in 2023, she was elected as Secretary of the Thoi Thuan Ward Youth Union. From July 2025 to the present, Ms. Duyen has served as Secretary of the Thot Not Ward Youth Union.

Ms. Tuong Duyen is particularly concerned with the care and education of children and teenagers, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, including Nguyen Trong Phuc, a student in class 8A3 at Thoi Thuan Secondary School. Phuc's mother is seriously ill, and his father works as a laborer with an unstable income. Understanding his situation, Ms. Duyen and the Ward Youth Union have sponsored Phuc. In addition to necessities and school supplies, the Ward Youth Union provides him with 1 million VND per quarter. Phuc shared: "Thanks to Ms. Duyen and the Ward Youth Union members for their help, giving me a bicycle and providing monthly financial support, I have better conditions to continue going to school. I promise to study hard so as not to disappoint everyone."

In 2025 and the first three months of 2026, Ms. Duyen and the Thot Not Ward Youth Union implemented a series of community activities; organizing numerous visits and gift-giving events for disadvantaged children, residents, and young people in the area. The "Green Sunday" movement gradually became well-established, attracting a large number of young people to participate, contributing to environmental protection and the building of a civilized urban area. The "Gratitude and Remembrance" work is always a top priority for Ms. Duyen and the Ward Youth Union. On the occasion of the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026) and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, Ms. Duyen and the Ward Youth Union organized a visit and gift-giving event for Heroic Vietnamese Mother Vo Thi Le (born in 1935) in Thoi Hoa 2 area, Thot Not Ward. At Mother's home, the youth union members affectionately inquired about her health and expressed their deep gratitude for her silent sacrifices for the cause of national liberation.

In the coming time, Ms. Duyen and the Ward Youth Union will continue to promote social welfare activities; actively coordinate with functional agencies to strengthen legal awareness campaigns for students in the area. At the same time, they will participate with the local government in mobilizing social resources to upgrade and repair dilapidated roads...
