A large fire broke out in a two-story house located deep in an alley in Ho Chi Minh City, with thick black smoke billowing out. Neighbors noticed the fire and shouted for help, allowing two people to escape in time.
The fire broke out at around 10 PM tonight (February 8th) at a two-story house in alley L38, Phu Lam A residential area, Ward 12, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City.

Residents spotted bright red flames and thick smoke billowing from the house. They quickly raised the alarm and grabbed several fire extinguishers to approach the building.
At that moment, inside the house, a woman with a child ran out in a panic.
Due to the large fire and the risk of it spreading to neighboring houses, the on-site forces were forced to retreat.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of District 6, comprising dozens of officers and vehicles, quickly arrived at the scene, deploying multiple approaches and using water hoses to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby houses.
The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes.

At the scene, the two-story house was completely burned, with many belongings destroyed and the corrugated iron roof collapsing.
Reportedly, the house was rented by a woman for her family of five to live in. Two people were inside when the fire broke out, and fortunately, they both escaped unharmed.
Ho Chi Minh City experienced 11 fires during the Tet holiday, with 13 people escaping unharmed.
