A car suddenly caught fire while moving inside the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem tunnel, Ho Chi Minh City).
On the evening of August 2, the authorities of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City were still coordinating with relevant units to investigate the car fire inside the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Thiem Tunnel).

Initial information, at around 6:30 p.m., in the Saigon River tunnel from District 1 to Thu Duc City, a car with a Lam Dong license plate suddenly caught fire.
The incident caused traffic congestion on the Saigon River Tunnel.

Authorities then arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
