Onana's mistake cost Man Utd the win against Galatasaray.
Manchester United delivered an emotional match for their fans, ranging from exhilarating hope to utter disappointment. The "Red Devils" twice took a two-goal lead against Galatasaray, but the visitors were ultimately held to a 3-3 draw by the final whistle.
Ten Hag's side got off to a quick start at Rams Park, with fluid attacking moves, and Man Utd quickly opened the scoring. In the 11th minute, Fernandes passed the ball from the center of the penalty area to the left for Garnacho, the Argentinian player comfortably dribbled the ball and fired a shot into the top corner of the net.

The early goal boosted the confidence of the Man Utd players. In the 18th minute, Fernandes unexpectedly unleashed a shot from outside the penalty area, the ball curling high into the home team's goal, leaving goalkeeper Muslera with no chance to save it.
Having conceded two goals in less than half of the first half, Galatasaray tried to mount an attack but failed to make any significant impact. A surprise came in the 29th minute when Ziyech scored from a free kick, finding the back of the net and reducing the deficit to 1-2 for the home team.
The major mistake in Man Utd's conceded goal lies with goalkeeper Onana. It's baffling that the visiting goalkeeper was proactive in anticipating Ziyech's shot, but when the opponent shot in a different direction, he was completely disoriented. Ziyech's shot wasn't particularly difficult; the ball went straight into the middle of the goal, very close to Onana's position.
The goal greatly boosted the morale of the home team's players. In the remaining minutes of the first half, Galatasaray didn't have any continuous attacks, but they still managed to keep the away fans on the edge of their seats. In the 43rd minute, Icardi shot the ball into Onana's net, but the referee disallowed the goal due to offside.

Entering the second half, the two teams continued to battle it out in the rain at Rams Park. In the 55th minute, Wan-Bissaka surged forward down the right wing, delivering a perfect cross for McTominay to tap the ball into the net, extending the lead to 3-1.
Just as Man Utd extended their lead to two goals, they conceded another, and it was Onana's fault. In the 62nd minute, Ziyech took a free kick, and the home team's winger delivered a cross into the penalty area. The ball went straight towards the goal without touching anyone, and Onana attempted to block it but it went into the net. A very regrettable goal conceded by the Cameroonian goalkeeper.
With the deficit reduced to just one goal, the home team's morale soared, and the Galatasaray players surged forward, scoring the equalizer in the 71st minute. Ziyech passed the ball to Akturkoglu, the home team's substitute, who unleashed a decisive shot that flew high into the net at high speed, leaving Onana with no chance to save it.

After conceding the equalizer, Man Utd tried to fight back but the visiting players couldn't capitalize on their opportunities to score a fourth goal, while Galatasaray seemed content with the draw, so the match ended 3-3.
With one more point, Man Utd remain bottom of Group A with 4 points, while Galatasaray are second with 5 points. In the final matchday, Man Utd will host Bayern Munich at home, while Galatasaray will travel to FC Copenhagen. Man Utd are in danger of being eliminated from European competition after the group stage; their fate is no longer in the hands of Ten Hag's team.
