During the 2023-2028 term, the Trade Union of Ky Anh Town (Ha Tinh Province) will continue to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation, contributing to the successful implementation of the local political tasks.

On the morning of August 3rd, the Ky Anh Town Labor Union held its 2nd Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

During the past term, with the unity and efforts of all union members and workers, the trade union organization in Ky Anh town has overcome difficulties and challenges, striving to achieve results in all fields.

The care and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers have been effectively implemented. 100% of workers in enterprises with trade union organizations participate in full social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance contributions; salary scales and tables are established according to regulations; 90% of enterprises with trade union organizations have signed and effectively implemented collective labor agreements; and 55% of workers receive annual periodic health check-ups.

Trade union organizations in the area have mobilized members to contribute over 2.3 billion VND to the Trade Union Social Fund, visited and presented 4,069 gifts worth over 2.2 billion VND to workers and children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances; and provided support for 28 "Trade Union Shelter Homes".

The Ky Anh Town Labor Union has successfully established 9 enterprise-level trade unions and recruited 897 new members. It has effectively organized patriotic emulation movements, especially those focused on skilled and innovative labor, and the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

With the motto "Innovation - Democracy - Unity - Development," in the coming term, trade unions at all levels in Ky Anh town will continuously improve the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

Strengthening political and ideological propaganda and education for union members and workers; innovating working methods, building a team of capable, intelligent, and professional trade union officials; gathering and attracting a large number of workers into the Vietnam Trade Union organization, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union. Effectively implementing emulation movements and campaigns, pioneering in the application of information technology, building a digital government, contributing to the successful fulfillment of the town's political tasks.

Speaking at the congress, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions Le Thi Hai Yen and Secretary of the Ky Anh Town Party Committee Dang Van Thanh acknowledged the achievements of the town's labor union in the past term.

In the new term, the Ky Anh Town Trade Union needs to continue innovating and diversifying its methods of operation; regularly understand the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; develop dialogue programs and plans to resolve difficulties for workers and businesses; promote the application of information technology in labor and production, urban economic development, and the digital economy; strengthen the direction and inspection of the implementation of democratic regulations and the assurance of benefits and policies for workers in units and enterprises; strengthen the trade union organization; pay attention to training a team of trade union officials with sufficient capacity and qualities; and promote the development of Party membership within trade union organizations, especially in enterprises.

The Ky Anh Town Trade Union Congress elected 13 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Ky Anh Town Federation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term. At the same time, a delegation of 9 comrades (8 official delegates, 1 alternate delegate) was elected to attend the Ha Tinh Trade Union Congress.
