Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh was elected Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On May 28, at the 12th session of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, term X, 2021-2026, with 47/51 delegates of the Provincial People's Council attending, the Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee as Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh was born on December 12, 1972, hometown: Thanh Duc commune, Go Dau district, Tay Ninh province. Professional qualifications: Master of Economic Law, Bachelor of Law; Bachelor of Political Theory. Before being elected as Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh was a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee, and a delegate of the Provincial People's Council.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented a Proposal on the dismissal of Mr. Vo Duc Trong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, because Mr. Trong was transferred to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh Province, Term X.

Accordingly, 100% of the Provincial People's Council delegates present agreed to dismiss Mr. Vo Duc Trong from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the same time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc also approved the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee on introducing personnel to elect additional positions of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh was elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term. Thus, with the election of Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh as Vice Chairman, Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee now has 3 Vice Chairmen: Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Mr. Duong Van Thang and Mr. Tran Van Chien.

Ms. Nguyen Dai Thy, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, approved the proposal of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, as Mr. Thanh was introduced to hold another position and the proposal to introduce personnel to elect the Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021-2026.

At the meeting, 100% of the attending Provincial People's Council delegates voted unanimously to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh from the position of Head of the Legal Department.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council introduced Mr. Truong Nhat Quang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Provincial People's Council delegate of Go Dau district to run for the Provincial People's Council to consider and elect to hold the position of Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021-2026.

The Provincial People's Council delegates elected an additional Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee. As a result, Mr. Truong Nhat Quang was elected to hold the position of Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee for the 10th term, 2021-2026.

Previously, on April 10, the 11th Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, term X, 2019 - 2024, unanimously agreed to elect Mr. Vo Duc Trong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, term 2019 - 2024. On April 19, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front recognized the results.
