Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan was elected Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee.

The People's Council of Kien Giang province, term X, 2021-2026, has just elected Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On December 26, the People's Council of Kien Giang province, term X, 2021-2026, held the 30th Session (Special Session) to consider and decide on personnel work under its authority.

At the meeting, delegates voted to dismiss Mr. Lam Minh Thanh from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province. At the same time, delegates voted to elect Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan gave a speech accepting the assignment.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan (born in 1977, hometown Tan Hiep district, Kien Giang province), professional qualification: Doctor of Agricultural Economics, senior political qualification.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan held the positions of Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tien City; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province.

Also on the morning of December 26, Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Secretariat's Decision on approving Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

At the 30th Session, the Kien Giang Provincial People's Council delegates voted to dismiss Mr. Mai Van Huynh from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and to terminate his duties as a delegate of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term due to his leave to enjoy the prescribed policies and regimes.

New Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Council Lam Minh Thanh delivered a closing speech at the meeting.

Delegates of the People's Council of Kien Giang province voted to elect Mr. Lam Minh Thanh to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
