Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc has passed away.

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of:

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc , Born in 1946, he passed away at 9:10 AM on January 8, 2026 (corresponding to the 20th day of the 11th lunar month of the Year of the Snake), at the age of 81.

The coffin placement ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM on January 8, 2026 (corresponding to the 20th day of the 11th lunar month of the Year of the Snake). The funeral procession will begin at 7:00 AM on January 12, 2026 (corresponding to the 24th day of the 11th lunar month of the Year of the Snake). The burial ceremony will take place at 8:30 AM on January 12, 2026 (corresponding to the 24th day of the 11th lunar month of the Year of the Snake). The deceased will be interred in the family plot.

Upon learning of the passing of Mr. Nguyen Van Phuoc (father-in-law of Mr. Huynh Nhut Minh, Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper), the Party Committee, Editorial Board, and all staff and reporters of SGGP Newspaper extend their sincere condolences to Mr. Huynh Nhut Minh and his family.
