During the rally, Mr Trump criticized his successor for the current state of the economy , which he called "hyperinflation". "Energy is what caused the hyperinflation that we had and then everything caught up. Have you ever seen the price of bacon go up four times in three years?" Mr Trump asked.
The former president criticized Mr Biden for suggesting that Americans could afford the government's tax rates amid such inflation. "They don't have money to spend. They're out of money. If you miss a few days of work, you can imagine not being able to pay your bills."
