Van Giang Commune Farmers' Association: Striving to have over 65% of members achieve the title of good farmers and businessmen

On the morning of October 1, the Farmers' Association of Van Giang commune held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Representatives of the Provincial Farmers' Association presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Van Giang Commune Farmers' Association has 22 branches, attracting 3,959 members. In the past term, the Commune Farmers' Association has performed well in the following aspects: Propaganda, political and ideological education for cadres and members; consolidating and perfecting the streamlined and efficient organizational structure; building a team of association cadres with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of the tasks, developing and improving the quality of members. The movement of farmers competing in production, good business, solidarity to help each other get rich and reduce poverty has achieved many results. Currently, the Association is managing 23 savings and loan groups, with outstanding debt of more than 53 billion VND.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Farmers' Association of Van Giang commune strives to have 95% or more of the grassroots associations operating strongly and fairly every year; over 75% of member households register to strive and over 65% achieve the title of good farmers in production and business at all levels; 100% of member households register to strive, of which 92% or more achieve the title of cultural farmer family...

To achieve the set goals, the Farmers' Association of Van Giang commune continues to innovate content and methods and improve the quality and efficiency of operations; mobilize, guide and support farmers to become digital farmers; promote the movement of farmers competing in production and good business; support and guide members and farmers to develop effective production models and develop enterprises in agriculture .

At the Congress, the decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Van Giang commune for the 2025-2030 term were announced; and the decision to allocate delegates to attend the congress at a higher level was announced.
