While Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is targeting Michigan, Republican candidate Donald Trump is focusing on the three biggest swing states with less than 48 hours remaining until the US presidential election.
Michigan is one of seven battleground states being closely watched. Trump also reversed the situation in Michigan – a former Democratic stronghold – on his way to defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016. President Joe Biden brought the state back into the Democratic camp in 2020, thanks to the support of labor unions and the Black community.

Currently, the race for the White House is incredibly close, with many states having neck-and-neck poll results. Approximately 75 million voters have cast their ballots early.
According to the average poll data released by RealClearPolitics, as of the evening of November 2nd, no candidate had a lead of more than three points in the seven swing states that decide the presidency.
Vice President Kamala Harris cast her vote by mail ahead of Election Day. The day before, Trump and Harris traveled to North Carolina to rally support in the southeastern battleground state. This marked the fourth time Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump visited the same state on the same day.
This underscores the importance of the seven states that could decide the race for the White House, and recent polls suggest both candidates are neck and neck.
As the race enters its final stretch, the campaign team of the US Vice President plans to hold networking events in seven battleground states on November 4th to garner voter support.
