Compared to 2022, OpenAI's revenue in 2023 achieved a record growth of 5,700%, expected to rival Elon Musk's SpaceX.

According to OpenAI's recently released financial report, chatbot developer ChatGPT generated $1.6 billion in revenue in 2023, marking a growth of over 20% compared to October 2023.

Since launching ChatGPT in February 2023, OpenAI has maintained steady revenue growth as the number of user subscriptions has increased. The latest data shows the company has achieved monthly revenue of up to $130 million.

OpenAI's revenue in 2022 was only $28 million, but in 2023 the company's revenue growth reached 5,700%.

According to Bloomberg , OpenAI's phenomenal growth is likely to attract investor interest as the company seeks to launch a new funding round with a target valuation of $100 billion or more.

However, information about OpenAI's potential new partners remains unknown. At the same time, the company has not disclosed the exact amount spent on maintaining ChatGPT.

According to data from market research firm CB Insights, if the new funding round goes as planned, OpenAI will become the second most valuable startup in the US, after SpaceX – the company of billionaire Elon Musk.
