Paris St.Germain dreams of conquering Europe.

Having won the European Cup three times, Inter Milan will face a formidable PSG side determined to achieve a miracle in the Champions League final at 2 AM on June 1st.

PSG is currently the only team in Europe that can dream of a "quadruple" after having already won all three domestic titles.

No room for error.

The Parisian team is aiming for a feat similar to what Celtic Glasgow achieved exactly 58 years ago. Five years ago, PSG lost to Bayern Munich in the Champions League final, so it's no surprise that the French team is aiming to lift the trophy in the Bavarian capital on the morning of June 1st, as a form of "sweet revenge".

Unlike his then-colleague Thomas Tuchel, who lacked extensive experience managing at the highest level, PSG's current manager, Luis Enrique, has led Barcelona to the Champions League title, guided the Spanish national team to the semi-finals of Euro 2020, and reached the final of the 2021 Nations League. Enrique is rebuilding PSG in his own unique style: ball control, flexible tactics, and a deep understanding of how to win big matches.

Meanwhile, while coach Simone Inzaghi played a major role in Inter Milan's strong rise in Serie A, two seasons ago he suffered a defeat in the Champions League final. The European champions that year were Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique's predecessor at Barcelona. Donnarumma's superb saves could certainly frustrate Inter Milan's strikers, even though Lautaro Martinez and his teammates have scored quite well throughout this season's Champions League campaign (26 goals in 14 matches).

Inter Milan's biggest problem has been their inconsistent form over the past few months, to the point of missing out on two consecutive domestic titles. Playing on three fronts has left many of Inzaghi's key players without the stamina and sharpness they need.

However, in the Champions League, statistics show that Inter Milan this season is stronger than they were in the final they lost to Man City in the 2022-2023 season. Without the right approach to the game and without making good use of opportunities, PSG will pay a heavy price, just as Barcelona suffered a defeat in the semi-finals.

The highlight of the final match on the morning of June 1st also promises to come from the attacking front. PSG will continue to rely on the explosive performance of striker Ousmane Dembele - who is highly anticipated to win with the Parisian team to further increase their chances of competing for this year's Ballon d'Or award.

PSG represents modern attacking football, knowing how to impose their game and finish off opponents, while Inter Milan is disciplined defensively and plays pragmatic football.

PSG in this season's Champions League is the team with the most wins (10) and the most goals (33), partly thanks to playing many games in the new format from the group stage.
