According to AFP , Larissa accused Payet of repeatedly abusing her during their seven-month relationship. The 28-year-old was allegedly forced to drink her own urine, drink water from the toilet and lick the floor as "proof of love" at the midfielder's request.
"I want justice because he took advantage of my psychological trauma for sexual gain," Larissa told AFP . "I recorded the video as evidence. I would never report something so serious without any basis."
Larissa said the couple met in August last year, when Payet was living alone in Brazil after separating from his wife of 20 years, Ludivine, and their four children in France. Initially, they were just casual meetings, but then they became more attached than expected.
She added: "At first we had no intention of being together, but then our feelings grew deeper and deeper. After my divorce, I went to Dimitri's house about every 12 days and stayed for a few days. He was very affectionate and always sent caring messages."
Police in Rio de Janeiro confirmed that they are investigating the incident. Larissa requested a protection order from the authorities because she was attacked, leaving marks on her body, and suffered physical, moral, psychological and sexual violence.
Finally, Larissa - now the mother of two children, apologized to her family and announced that she would withdraw from social media in the near future to find peace.
Payet currently plays for Vasco da Gama. The 38-year-old has not commented on the matter. He played for West Ham and Marseille before moving to Brazil in 2023.
