On May 6, a representative of the Dak Lak Department of Construction confirmed that they had supported the request for the bus company to extract dashcam data to track down lost property due to a passenger forgetting a bag containing more than 90 million VND.
The passenger bus involved belongs to AHH Transport Company, running from Dak Lak to the Western provinces.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Thuy D. (24 years old, residing in Dak Mil district, Dak Nong), on the evening of March 31, she took the AHH bus from Dak Mil to Ben Cat town ( Binh Duong ) to take her child to see a doctor.
When getting off the bus at Hoa Loi intersection, Ben Cat town, Ms. D. forgot her handbag on the bus. Inside the bag were her identification papers and more than 90 million VND.
Immediately after that, Ms. D. contacted the bus company but was told that no one had claimed to have picked up the bag. Suspecting that her property was lost on the bus, she sent a request to the Dak Lak Department of Construction for assistance in extracting dash cam data.
The clip from the camera shows that the bus conductor named D. took Ms. D.'s handbag. The female passenger asked the bus conductor to return the entire amount.

Mr. NTP, branch director of AHH Company, confirmed that there was an incident where a passenger left a bag on the bus. The company coordinated with Ms. D. to work with the local police, but at that time, the person who took the bag had not been identified. The company then took the bus to the Department of Construction to extract camera footage at the passenger's request.
"The camera clearly recorded the scene of the bus conductor taking the bag. Mr. D. also admitted to this act. I asked the police to clarify, but the bus conductor and the passenger had already agreed on the return," Mr. P. informed.
Mr. P. added that the busboy D. was only on probation and has now quit and returned to his hometown. If he does not pay back the full amount, the company will report him to the police.
Regarding this matter, Ms. D. said that so far, the busboy D. has only returned 50 million VND, the remaining amount was scheduled to be paid on April 18 but has not yet been transferred.
Too upset, her family posted a clip of the incident on social media, attracting great attention and many angry opinions about the bus attendant's behavior.
