Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command attended and directed the Congress; leaders of provincial departments and branches, and former leaders of Quang Phu commune attended the Congress.
Quang Phu was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Quang Phu, Dak Nang, Duc Xuyen. In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Phu commune have strived to overcome difficulties and achieved many important results.
Total production value reached 5,399 billion VND; average income per capita reached 57.7 million VND/year; production value/ha reached 91.7 million VND. The whole commune has 3 products that have achieved OCOP certification, including 1 product that has achieved 4 stars at the provincial level. 100% of villages and hamlets have asphalted and concreted roads; the commune has achieved 16/19 new rural criteria; the poverty rate has decreased to 3.58%.
Party building work was focused on. During the term, 66 new party members were admitted. Inspection and supervision work was carried out effectively, contributing to improving discipline and sense of responsibility in the political system.
With the motto "Solidarity, democracy, discipline, breakthrough, development", the Congress discussed and agreed on the general goals for the new term: Building a strong Party and political system; promoting aspirations to rise up; effectively exploiting potentials; mobilizing all resources to bring Quang Phu to sustainable development, becoming an advanced new rural commune by 2030.
The Congress set out targets and breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term. In particular, the average annual economic growth rate reached 7.5 - 8.5%; average income per capita reached 71 million VND; production value per hectare of cultivated land reached 110 million VND; the poverty rate fell below 3%.
Quang Phu commune focuses on developing high-tech agriculture; expanding specialized production areas; attracting investment, developing eco-tourism, trade services, agricultural product processing; adding 1-2 OCOP products; having at least 5 more schools meeting national standards.
Along with economic development, the commune focuses on improving the quality of education, healthcare, and environmental protection. Specifically, striving to have the rate of people participating in health insurance reach over 95%; the rate of waste collected and treated hygienically reach over 80%...
The Congress also discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
Speaking at the Congress, Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Phu commune in the past term, especially the outstanding results in building new rural areas, developing the economy and ensuring national defense and security after the merger.
Entering the new term, Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng suggested that Quang Phu commune continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and build a team of exemplary and honest cadres. The locality focuses on effectively exploiting its potential, developing high-tech agriculture, eco-tourism, and community services. In particular, the commune focuses on promoting comprehensive digital transformation.
"Administrative reform associated with digital transformation is one of the strategic breakthroughs, along with synchronous infrastructure development, improving the quality of human resources, effectively managing resources, and protecting the environment," Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng emphasized.
The Party Committee and communal government continue to improve governance capacity, promote the role of the grassroots political system, and effectively carry out Party building work.
Regarding the content of the Congress documents, Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng suggested that it is necessary to fully absorb the comments and clearly define the key tasks, associated with the spirit of 7 clear: Clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear products, clear results, clear deadlines, and clear roadmap.
Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng believes that with consensus, high political determination and the spirit of innovation, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Phu commune will successfully complete the goals set out in the Congress resolution, turning the locality into an advanced new rural commune, developing comprehensively and sustainably, contributing to the overall development of Lam Dong province.
