Striving to complete the Tra Khuc River downstream dam project before November 30

(QNgTV) - The construction site of the Tra Khuc River downstream dam project in Quang Ngai has become bustling again as land clearance issues at critical locations have been resolved. The cumulative value of the construction volume to date has reached nearly 90% of the contract value.

In particular, the project has been basically completed on the South bank, while the contractor is focusing on completing the culverts, piers and abutments at the locations that have just approached the ground. According to the plan, before September 15, the last girder span and gate of the project will be installed and completed.

After that, organize the asphalt paving of the northern bridge, install pedestrian railings and connect the project with Hoang Sa street to organize traffic. Strive to complete the entire project before November 30, proceed to acceptance, handover and official operation.

Upon completion, in addition to participating in the management of Tra Khuc River and the construction of riverside urban areas, the project will also directly form the road axis bypassing the East of Quang Ngai urban area, helping to connect Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road with the planned Ring Road 2.

From there, create a North-South traffic axis parallel to National Highway 1 and the coastal road, serving the travel needs of people and creating a great development momentum for Quang Ngai province.
