Traffic diversion for exhibition of national achievements

From August 28 to September 5, at the National Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi), the Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition will take place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Hanoi City Police will direct traffic and organize directions for all types of vehicles.

Accordingly, the time for temporary ban and vehicle restriction is from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from August 28 to September 5.

Temporarily banned and restricted routes: Temporarily banned cargo trucks with cargo weight of 3,500 kg or more, passenger cars with 29 seats or more (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, emergency response vehicles, vehicles with security badges, vehicles of the police force, military and other priority vehicles as prescribed by law) and restricted trucks with cargo weight of less than 3,500 kg, passenger cars with less than 29 seats and private cars and motorbikes operating on some routes: Ly Son, Truong Sa, Hoang Sa.

The National Exhibition and Fair Center will be the venue for the Socio -Economic Achievements Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the above time, Hanoi City Police will organize directions for vehicles to detour and avoid temporarily prohibited and restricted areas as follows:

- Vehicles from provinces and cities of Hai Phong, Bac Ninh,... to provinces of Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen,... follow Thanh Tri bridge, Ring Road 3, Vo Van Kiet or Hanoi, Bac Giang Expressway, National Highway 18, Vo Van Kiet,... and vice versa.

- Vehicles from National Highway 3 to Xuan Canh intersection and Bac Thang Long - Vuc De intersection go in the direction of Hoang Sa and Vo Van Kiet streets.

- Means of transport from Noi Bai airport to Vo Nguyen Giap - National Highway 18 to Vo Van Kiet or Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway.

For other routes and vehicles, comply with the regulations on the operation of vehicles in Hanoi issued under Decision No. 6/2013/QD-UBND dated January 25, 2013 of the Hanoi People's Committee (amended and supplemented in Decision No. 24/2020/QD-UBND dated October 2, 2020 of the Hanoi People's Committee) and other regulatory documents of competent authorities.

The Department of Construction is requested to base on the traffic diversion notice to direct functional units to adjust the routes of passenger bus routes and limit operations on the routes according to the notice content.

Require all vehicles participating in traffic to voluntarily and strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and follow the instructions and traffic flow of the authorities.
